I just ran the Two Cities Marathon in Fresno/Clovis CA, and recommend it. Marek Warszawski reported in the Fresno Bee that Fresno running store owner Aaron Samansky was watching the race when Nabil Ali stopped and took off his shoes, and kept running in his socks. Aaron caught up with him, asking which shoes have worked before, and ran back to nearby Sierra Running Company, and stuffed three pairs in a backpack. Aaron then cycled back along the race course, caught up with Nabil, who was about to drop out, and offered him the shoes. Nabil picked up the pace again and finished in 3:34:59! He also came by the store later and paid his bill. -Jeff
