Jeff Galloway’s Weekend Running Retreat in Blue Mountain, FL, a small settlement about 20 minutes east of Destin. The retreat’s local base is only about a three-minute jog from the system of wonderful trails or the beach. Join Jeff and Barbara for a morning run/walk before attending his informative and motivational clinics. Come early or stay late and enjoy the beach; running/walking on an extensive trail system and the usually great weather!

We stay at the beautiful and comfortable Squaw Valley Lodge. Lodge amenities include indoor and outdoor hot tubs, swimming, tennis, sauna and fitness room. Both camps begin on Friday, July 26, 2020 with an easy run to get acquainted. Both camps end after breakfast on the last day. Each morning begins with a run or walk in a different nearby location. Breakfast is followed by clinics by Jeff and his guests speakers. Seminar topics include Running Injury Free, Nutrition, Getting Faster/ Speed Drills, Mental Training, Goal setting, Shoe selection, Pool running, and Running form / analysis. Individual consults with Jeff area also a part of camp.

After lunch, you may choose to shop, sightsee, sun by the pool, or join the group for a scenic hike, T-shirt swap, bike ride, river raft ride, etc. The group (~40) gathers again in the evenings for dinner onsite or at one of the nearby restaurants. After dinner activities have included s’mores and songs at the pool, and even ballroom dance lessons.
