A winner in race horse country, and a great medal!

I just ran the Ironhorse Half Marathon in Midway KY (near Lexington). Quaint downtown, beautiful horse farms, stone and wooden fences, fall colors, and really friendly people. Because of limited parking the enrollment is limited (@1200 I believe). This is an asset because there are not the crowds going everywhere.

Everyone can receive a complimentary Bar B Q meal in the historic downtown after the race. The medal is special: Image of a steam engine, headed toward you with a headlight that can be switched to strobe. The folks at John's Run/Walk store in Lexington promoted my running school for a great turnout and put a team of folks together to make this a great race experience.
