Whether you are just beginning or need motivation to re-charge your fitness and nutrition — Jeff and Barbara Galloway will inspire you. Join us in world-renowned Carmel-by-the-Sea this spring for an incredible fitness retreat of scenic runs, hikes and walks.




  • Various scenic routes in and around Carmel-by-the-Sea with Jeff Galloway and staff
  • Jeff and Staff will explain how to set up the program to reach your goals: walking, running, hiking — for more stamina, motivation, while avoiding aches and pains.
  • ***Special Nutrition consultations by Carissa Bealert RDN who will answer your questions about nutrition for fitness
  • Morning run or walk through the beautiful hamlet of Carmel-by-the-Sea with Jeff and staff
  • Learn about the heritage of running, stories of inspiration, humor and fun with Jeff
  • In each session, Jeff and staff will answer your individual questions


  • Personalized running/walking form evaluation by Jeff Galloway
  • Special “problem solving” time after each session

DAILY ITINERARY (subject to change)

8:00am Coffee talk with Jeff Galloway
9:00am Scenic run in Carmel-by-the-Sea with and staff
10:00am Continental breakfast at your hotel or inn
11:00am Session 1: Exercise without pain
12:00pm Session 2: “Great tasting healthy food: sampling and preparation” at Sunset Center
12:45pm Lunch on your own
2:00pm Nutrition
3:00pm Optional Fitness Activity

  • Thursday:  Scenic run/walk in Carmel-by-the-Sea
  • Friday (Offsite):  Hike and walk at picturesque Point Lobos State Natural Reserve (Tentative)
  • Saturday (Offsite):  Hike at the private Palo Corona Regional Park (Tentative)
5:30pm Meet and greet hosted by Jeff Galloway at a unique location in Carmel-by-the-Sea with a few motivational thoughts and offerings for the next day.  Discuss your fitness/nutrition with Jeff and staff
6:00pm Dinner on your own

The Retreat registration fee is $579.00. When you make the refundable $200.00 deposit you will be sent a discount code to use when you reserve your accommodations with one of the participating hotels.  The remaining $379.00 balance will be billed approximately 30 days before the retreat.
